Anivo started as a place to keep Mocha. It became a place for anyone who has loved a companion.

This is Mocha.

She was a French Bulldog. She lived for almost three years. She never barked — she would just look at you, and you'd know exactly what she meant. She was the only one who was genuinely happy every time you walked through the door, even if you had only been gone for ten minutes.

She passed in May 2026.

The space she left

If you've lost a pet, you know there's a specific kind of silence after. The house feels different. You reach for them out of habit. You find a toy under the couch. The spot on the sofa is just a spot now.

The hardest part wasn't the grief. The hardest part was watching the small things start to fade. The way she sat. The sound she made when she was content. The funny things only we knew about her. I could feel them slipping, and I couldn't find a place to put them down.

I didn't want a feed. I didn't want followers. I just wanted somewhere quiet to keep her.

Why I built Anivo

I looked for what already existed. Most options were either old-fashioned memorial websites that felt clinical, or social apps that turned grief into content. Neither felt right. So I started building one for myself — a private place to keep every photograph, every story, every small habit, with no audience and no algorithm.

Then I realised: if I needed this, other people probably did too. Quietly, without saying anything. So I kept building.

What I promise

Your memories will never be shared. Not with advertisers, not with AI training datasets, not with anyone. They belong to you.

You can leave at any time. Export everything you've saved, in standard formats. Delete your account in seconds. Nothing held hostage.

Anivo will never become a social feed. No followers, no likes, no public profiles. Grief is private. Anivo stays that way.
